Richard Finch Eugene: A Life Well-Lived and a Legacy That Will Live On

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Coil, a man who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him. Born on October 'date' in Dixon, Illinois, Ron was the son of Leslie and Patricia (Barnhart) Coil. He grew up to be a hardworking individual, dedicating himself to his job at Crest Foods for many years.

Ron's passion for life extended beyond his work. In his younger years, he enjoyed trapping and hunting, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and challenge himself. His love of the outdoors was just one aspect of his adventurous spirit, which also led him to explore his creative side through music.

As a brother, son, and friend, Ron was known for his caring and compassionate heart. He always put others first, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement when needed most. His family and friends will remember him fondly as a kind soul with a quick wit and infectious smile.

Ron is survived by his brother, Richard Coil; sisters, Nancy Coil and Tracy Thies; nieces and nephew, several cousins, and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice & Home, a organization that provided Ron with comfort and care during his final days.

A visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. at Finch Funeral Home, 405 East Hitt, Mt. Morris, IL. Those who knew Ron are invited to share their memories of him during this time.

As we say goodbye to a life well-lived, we take comfort in the knowledge that Ron's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. He may be gone, but his impact will never fade.
